Weaning corresponds with the moment that baby stops breastfeeding to start feeding from a bottle or onto a range of foods if they are 6 months or more. It is an obligatory step that can take place very calmly if the transition is made in a gentle way by following our advice.
Golden rules for weaning baby
From birth to the age of 3, your baby’s sleep rhythm will vary a lot. At the beginning they will sleep up to 16 hours a day, and then their rests slowly become further apart until they have adapted to a day/night rhythm. Each baby is unique and will reveal themselves to be someone who needs a lot of sleep or otherwise! Table lists average values: let baby find their own rhythm.

Every baby is unique and each has their own rhythm in terms of their development. Here is a list of your baby’s main achievements over the first 12 months of their life. Above all be patient, let baby take all the time they need! Dates are given as guidelines only.
